We had a busy Halloween weekend, both Gaelen and Grandma came up and spent the weekend with us. We went to a celebration at All Together Now where Jakobi takes a music class on Friday and on Saturday we celebrated our Feast of the Ancestors. We had fun carving pumpkins and Gaelen and i built a nice big fire in the October drizzle and we lit our jack o’ lanterns and placed them in the garden to guide the ancestors home.

On Halloween day we headed into Montpelier and ran a costumed 5K race, we went as characters in the Wizard of Oz but took home no prizes 🙁

Ambiana has been taking fiddle lessons for a month and last Saturday there was a recital. She got up her nerve and played “1-2-3 Blast Off” solo and then joined the others for a group rendition of “Cabbage”
