Bye Bye House...

Ambiana is leaving the home of her birth, tagging along with us as we roam half the earth, wearing her baby on her back just like mommy! In preparation for our voyage we have been teachin Yaya to tell us when she has to pee and poo and then use the potty or squat if we are outside. We are happy to announce a 90% success rate and will not be taking our cloth diapers on our adventure, in fact we gave them to Kieth our neighbor to buff his car with :)

We spent our last Monday at the Butterfly Place with Gaelen, Gamma and Hannah and thousands of butterflys. It was neat but small. We saw this lizard there too!

Yaya shows off her model of the universe
one second after Birth done in Cous Cous.

Gamma spent two days with us as we took the house apart around us, Gaelen was also here for the dismantling and a good thing it was for him to participate in our leaving. April is a long way away but I am grateful for the last 2 years with him and am ready to embrace the next phase our growth, time apart is a cocoon.

Before we left we paid one last visit to the Library, our favorite place...

...and feasted on pizza as the gas was turned off on the last day of August.

By 4pm Saturday the house was as empty as we found it, our lives and possessions removed and a space opened up for new life to come in.

Seven days...

We've spent the past 2 weekends holding a tag sale to rid ourselves of our livin-indoors-accumulations and we've done quite good...no more sofas, beds, chairs, tables...a lot has gone bye bye including Yaya's big silver ball we bounce her on..bye bye ball :(

Gaelen has been with us both weekends as well, we've been having big fires down at the river burning the wood that made building the canoe possible, I explained to him it was a ritual of thanks and he took a cooled down coal and buried it in the front yard to honor the canoe..so sweet. We listened to the Red Sox beat up on the White Sox by the fire as well.

It's gonna be a busy 7 days of wrapping up loose ends. I am done with Spanda.com and the coffeeshop, Colleen has 3 days of work left and we are done with the CSA Farm as well. We went this past weekend to a Tomato festival there where Yaya and Gaelen got to ride a PONY!!!!
