One year old

Our little Jakobi Kai is one. We can not imagine life without her. A morning is incomplete without her crawling over to tug on your hair as soon as she wakes up. It is amazing how much her own person she is already and what she can comprehend and communicate. She celebrated her first birthday with Mom and sister by going blueberry picking where she had the satisfaction of eating them right from the bush as opposed to frozen from the fridge.  She continues to stand unassisted but has no desire to take a step. She is fiercely devoted to her Momma but will allow Dad to lull her to sleep id she’s tired enough. Ambiana says she’s much more fun now that she likes puzzles and looking at books. We are al very excited to she what her second orbit brings!

Gaelen turned 9 in Ohio! We spoke to him on his special day and now that he is with us we congratulated him again and gave him all the wonderful presents his relatives sent for him. Of course his biggest present is the trip to Ireland he is making with me in  one week. Jakobi loves Gaelen and follows him around. He is very good a reading books to her. We had a potluck/campout party for jakobi on July 31st. Grandma brought Gaelen up and we had Chloe, Linnea,callum, juniper, rowan, zoe, maggie, willow, embry and all their folks over to share our birthstory and fond recollections of Colleen’spregnancy and Jakobi’s first year. The food was great and Dan and Embry even spent the night. Wehad good stories around the fire and nice sleeping among the fireflies in our meadow.

Gaelen's Putt Putt Posse

Gaelen’s party was on August 1st at 6pm at the 202 Entertainment Complex in Orange MA.  Molly had pizza, apples, water and Putt Putt and batting cage tokens for all. It was fun to be in Gaelen’s world and she him with all his friends.

Ambiana was excited to see Eden again. here they feast on the PIZZA!  We played golf, took some swings and mingled with the folks. The girls were packed for Ireland and continued on to Boston with Grandam to catch their flight out the next day. I headed home alone for 5 days. I pick Gaelen up on Friday and we are heading to Boston for the weekend and then Ireland to join the rest of the family for Chuck’s wedding on the 10th.
