A Gift of a Day...

Sunday was a gift day; sunny and in the sixties. We spent the morning with Gaelen and as much of the afternoon as possible outside

I met a neighbor down on the river today who gave me a brief history of South Hadley and Holyoke; he told me that William Pynchon who founded Holyoke is buried in the graveyard behind our house. this is not his marker but it does make a good study in opposites....Death and Re-Birth...Yin and Yang...Night and Day...Stone and Belly.
